One of the many tools of SEO is to add metatags to your source code. From Bing and Google to Facebook and Alexa to Chrome and Internet Explorer, it seems everyone has a bit of code you can add to your home page to track one thing or another. For Alexa, the code will look like this: <meta name=”alexaVerifyID” content=”xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” /> and will be placed in the metatags section in the header of your site. This and other additional codes, widgets, and plugins will allow you more detailed tracking of your site’s stats.
