June Nights–WordPress #2

The first step for tonight is to create an “about” page.

This should include pics.

Go to “pages” then “all pages.”

Go ahead and create a page based on what we already went over.

Let’s begin HTML coding!

Remember, in HTML, you have to tell the site to start doing something, and then stop doing it.

So, to make this sentence:

The Chicago Bulls play tomorrow night.

You need to put bold tags around “Chicago Bulls.” To start bolding, use: <strong> and to stop, use </strong>

So, the sentence will look like this:

The <strong>Chicago Bulls </strong> play tomorrow night.

“Chicago Bulls” will be bolded.

For the purpose of this class, you’re going to show me you can do headlines, sub healines, and sub, sub headlines. They’ll look like this.

This is a headline

This is a subheadline

This is a sub-sub headline

To code a headline, write the sentence, and then flip to “text” (next to “visual,” this is HTML mode”) and put the following commands in:

<h1>This is a headline</h1>

<h2>This is a subheadline</h2>

<h3>This is a sub-sub headline</h3>
